FUNDRAISING terms & Conditions
Please be aware of the following terms and conditions that we ask you to agree to before fundraising for BB UK and also how your information may be used. Please refer to the Code of Practice for further guidance.
By proceeding, you confirm that you are fundraising independently and will describe your activity as being “in aid of Basket Brigade UK.”
You must act honestly and transparently at all times, ensuring that all communications with donors and supporters are accurate and do not mislead or negatively impact the reputation of the charity.
All fundraising activities must reflect the ethos of Basket Brigade UK and be inclusive, respectful, and conducted in a way that prioritises the safety, wellbeing, and dignity of all participants and supporters.
You are responsible for planning and delivering your fundraising activity, including obtaining any required licences, permissions, permits, or insurance, and complying with all relevant laws and regulations.
All fundraising must be managed via the official Basket Brigade UK fundraising page. This platform should be used to collect donations, promote your activity, and share updates or stories about your event.
You are responsible for all funds raised until they are transferred to Basket Brigade UK. You must ensure that all monies are handled securely and safely. All proceeds must be transferred within two (2) weeks of the fundraising activity taking place, and wherever possible, donations should be made directly through the official fundraising page.
Basket Brigade UK accepts no liability for any loss, damage, injury, or claims arising from your fundraising activity, which you undertake at your own risk.
Before approaching any companies, organisations, or third parties for sponsorship or support, you must obtain prior approval from Basket Brigade UK to ensure there is no conflict of interest. You must also seek permission before using any Basket Brigade UK assets, including logos, branding, images, quotes, or published materials.
Where necessary, you agree to follow any guidance provided by Basket Brigade UK in relation to branding, messaging or promotional activity to ensure consistency and compliance.
You must handle any personal data collected during your fundraising responsibly and in line with applicable data protection laws, ensuring individuals’ privacy is respected at all times.
